New Acne Treatment Uses Brewers Yeast
German-based skin care company, Dayenne is said to be revolutionizing the way acne is treated with a new range of products. The developers of the product range said that daughters brewers yeast helps to regulate the production of sebum (oil) produced by the skin. The main product in the range, Masque Dayenne, is said to contain a number of active ingredients that help treat skin impurities. Some of these ingredients are vitamins B1, B2 and B6, amino acids and biotin. The entire line of Dayenne skin care products includes a cleanser, toner, sun cream, day cream, and night cream. Can Birth Control Pills Still Treat Acne
Even though the result was unintended, this weeks meeting of the FDA Reproductive Health Drugs Advisory Committee has led to a media blitz that sheds doubt on the effectiveness of birth control pills. While the FDA has denounced such claims and declared that the true purpose of these meetings is to discuss clinical trial designs and that the newer generation products [birth control pills] are highly effective in preventing pregnancy, it will be difficult to undo the message of uncertainty already cast upon the reliability of birth control pills.
