Montgomery Ballet will perform 'Swan Lake' and excerpts from the masters
This year's Montgomery Ballet Premiere Performance will showcase the best of the best. The production Feb. 2 to 4 at Troy University's Davis Theatre for the Performing Arts not only includes "Swan Lake, Act II," one of the most famous ballets in the world, but it also features highlights from the Montgomery Ballet's ballet master and resident choreographer Oskar Antunez, who's celebrating his 10th anniversary with the company. "Oskar has produced so many beautiful ballets that he has choreographed himself that we have performed in Montgomery," said Priscilla Crommelin-Ball, the company's artistic director. "I was just looking at the list of all the ballets, full-length ballets that he has done, with us." The list includes such two-hour ballets as "Romeo and Juliet," "The Firebird," "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Alice in Wonderland" and "Gatsby," the latter of which is based on F.

The Food and Drug Administration said birth control pills are safer, however, they are not as good at preventing pregnancy. On Wednesday, advisers to the FDA recommended that the pills be allowed to stay on the market.
